Newborn Foal paste is designed for use on all newborn foals and older foals to help achieve optimum health and growth performance. Foal Paste is a concentrated live cultures of beneficial bacteria, enzymes and strategic proteins.
The bacteria are species-specific and are used to help establish and maintain the microbial population in the intestinal tract. The bacteria are micro-encapsulated to protect the bacteria until it reaches the intestinal tract, where digestive enzymes breakdown the capsule and release the bacteria.The bacteria are compatible with antibiotics and have been shown to have a competitive advantage against common pathogens.
The strategic proteins are a combination of specialized proteins to aid the animal in overcoming disease, such as gastrointestinal infection.The strategic proteins leave no residue nor toxic products requiring no special precaution, build no resistance and the actions are specific and rapid.
Usage rate: Administer 15gm orally on back of tongue within the first 24 hours, repeat as necessary. May be used during FOAL HEAT CYCLE, (dosage for heat cycle 1- 15gm tube on day 9,repeat on day 12)
